This elegant wall mirror in solid teak was made by Glas & Trä in Sweden during the 1950s and is an excellent example of Scandinavian mid-century design. The period organic shape combined with high-quality material gives the mirror a sober expression that fits in both modern and classic interiors.
The frame is made of beautifully grained teak, whose soft curves give the mirror a sculptural depth. The crystal-clear original glass is slightly recessed into the wood and is surrounded by a precise rounded cut, which enhances the artisanal impression. The natural finish of the wood gives a warm and inviting feeling, while reflecting light and surfaces with elegance.
The mirror is in very good vintage condition with a beautiful patina and slight age-related reflection, which attests to its authenticity. It is easy to place vertically and works perfectly in a hallway, bedroom or as an accent in the living room.
