The founders of Gbg Deco

Gbg Deco was started on April 27, 2019 by Alisa Ustaibrisevic and Erik Törnqvist. It was their shared love of good design and quality that brought them together. Together they started the store Gbg Deco in Gothenburg to share this love with others. All furniture for sale is carefully selected and refurbished by professional craftsmen to be in the best condition when displayed in the store.

Alisa is a trained fashion designer. And has always had a great passion for fashion, design and interior design. After several years in the fashion industry, Alisa chose to work with vintage interior design. Her goal is to inspire people to decorate environmentally friendly with old objects. Alisa has a great fondness for Swedish Modern, Mid-century moder and Art Deco. Her favorite designers are Otto Schulz and Svante Skogh.

Erik has always worked with interior design and selling furniture. His first store opened in the heart of Gothenburg in 1993, where he sold the latest in interior design and also brought in new designers. A few years later he sold the shop to work with vintage, which he still works with today by running the shop Gbg Deco. Erik has at least 25 years of experience in selling vintage furniture and interior design.
