The founders of Gbg Deco

Gbg Deco is an online vintage store founded in 2019 by Alisa Ustaibrisevic and Erik Törnqvist. We specialize in exclusive vintage furniture and sustainable interiors within Swedish Modern, Mid-century Modern, and Art Deco.

Our goal is to make it easy to decorate with timeless, high-quality design – no matter where you are in the world.

We handpick every piece of furniture and every interior detail with a strong focus on form, history, and the best of Scandinavian design. All items are carefully restored by professional craftsmen, using environmentally friendly and durable materials to ensure a long lifespan and a high-quality finish. The result is sustainable interiors that combine aesthetics, function, and responsibility.

Today, we sell exclusively online and ship our furniture to customers all over the world – from interior designers in the USA, France, and Asia to design-interested private individuals looking for unique, renovated vintage furniture in top condition.

Alisa Ustaibrisevic – with a feel for materials and style

Alisa is a trained fashion designer with extensive experience in the fashion and design industry. Her passion for form, quality, and sustainable aesthetic style led her to vintage interiors, where she now curates parts of the assortment with a particular focus on Swedish Modern, Mid-century, and Art Deco. Her favorites include Otto Schulz and Svante Skogh.

Erik Törnqvist – over 25 years of experience with vintage furniture

Erik opened his first interior design store in central Gothenburg in 1993 and has since worked with furniture, design, and renovation. With over 25 years of vintage experience, he continues to handpick items for Gbg Deco with a keen sense of quality and long-term sustainability.
