This iconic sofa in the “New York” model was designed by American designer Edward Wormley for Dunbar and manufactured by Swedish DUX in the 1950s. The sofa has been carefully completely renovated and appears in new condition – both aesthetically and functionally. It is upholstered in an exclusive light gray fabric with a wear resistance of 100,000 Martindale, making it ideal for daily use in both private and public environments. The fabric is also fireproof, which increases safety in the home or in public spaces.
The architectural construction, with straight lines, integrated armrests and a button-up back, rests on a solid base of beautiful wood. The rounded solid wood legs not only serve as support, but also elevate the design with sculptural details that reveal Wormley's sure-handed hand.
