Shelf system "Royal System" by Poul Cadovius, 1950s

Poul Cadovius designed the Royal System shelf system in 1948. It was one of the world's first shelves that hung on the wall and freed up floor space. The shelf system quickly became a success and then among the biggest successes in the Danish furniture industry ever.

In 2010, the system was made in an updated version of the dk3 brand and is still in production today.

The shelf system that we sell is from 1950. And therefore has patina and marks. There is a chip on the front of the drawer, see pictures!
